I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for the Council District 3 seat. My decision to run is deeply rooted in my passion for serving our community and my commitment to making our island an even better place to live.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving on the County Council from 2008 to 2016 and as the East Hawaii Governor's Representative from 2018 to 2022. These roles have provided me with invaluable experience and a profound understanding of the challenges and opportunities we face. From infrastructure improvements to community programs, I have worked hard to address the needs of our residents and enhance the quality of life for everyone in our district.

I am running for re-election because I believe there is still much work to be done. Our community deserves a dedicated and experienced leader who will continue to advocate for sustainable development, economic growth, and social responsibility. My vision for District 3 includes creating more opportunities for local businesses, improving our public services, and ensuring a safe and healthy environment for future generations.

Throughout my career, I have always prioritized listening to the voices of our community. Your concerns, ideas, and aspirations are what drive my work. I am committed to being accessible and responsive to you, and I believe that together, we can overcome any challenge and seize every opportunity.
